Warm Winter's Day

As I sit in my living room writing this blog
I sit on the sofa seeing warm winter's fog

Here in the south we receive no snow
Never is a time when green grass does not grow

Ever since leaving I sure have missed
That Colorado cold white snowy bliss

I begin to think after taking a shower
About how much has happened in the world during this hour

Like how people up north get to stay
In a winter wonderland

While I sit here
On a warm winters day

  1. I love this poem. The rhyme scheme has a good flow to it, and I know exactly what you mean about the no snow.
