Reading

I have grown as a reader throughout this year and it has become easier to read as it went by. When I read Lord of the Flies during the second quarter, I was a slow reader and annotations took me hours a night. Then, when I began to read Asylum as a free choice read, I started to notice a jump in my reading speed. When I read ATDPTI, I noticed that reading started to not give me headaches and took a little bit less concentration to do. Although I had to concentrate less while reading I didn't zone out like I used to at all. When I began to read Purple Hibiscus, I noticed that reading responses seemed less tedious due to both my growth as a writer and a reader. Overall, I have grown in speed and concentration levels through reading this year.
